National Trails Day. You Dig?

National Trails Day

This Saturday is National Trails Day. If you’re lucky enough to live in a place with trails, which we in Park City certainly are, here is your chance to get out and support your local trails and builders while increasing your micro-biome. Get involved by participating in one of the events listed below. No trails where you live? Then go build some… you dig?

Wasatch Trails Alliance:

This Saturday, June 7th , is National Trails Day. To celebrate come help out on the lower sections of the new WOW trail from 9 AM till 1 PM. Remember: all participants will receive a 20% discount at Slim and Knobbys Bike Shop, and your hours count as in-kind service towards the matching funds required for the trail-building grants. Tools are provided.

If gardening is more your cup of tea, please bring your trowel, clippers, etc. to help spruce up the oval in front of the Visitor Center.

No matter what chore youre helping with, always bring water, sunscreen and gloves.

Meet at the Visitor Center at 9.

Mountain Trails Foundation:

Mountain Trails Foundation will be hosting a trail work day on the new Stoneridge property (Round Valley). More Details >

Basin Recreation

Get your hands dirty with Basin Recreation as we do some drainage repair along Cobblestone Trail! National Trails Day is on Saturday, June 7th, 2014. Join us by meeting where Cobblestone Trail crosses W Deer Hill Road in The Preserve. Look for National Trails Day signs on your way to The Preserve (see map). Enjoy coffee and bagels provided by Basin Recreation starting at 8:15am. Bring work gloves, tools, water and sunscreen. Basin Recreation will supply some tools, direction and motivation!
