The McCoy Flats area outside of Vernal, Utah is a hidden gem of a trail system. Like a mini 18 Road, once you’ve pulled up and set up shop, you’re in for a few days worth of fun without ever having to get back in the car, as just about every campsite is a short pedal from a trailhead. Plus, with it being a short 2.5 hour drive to the east, it’s a perfect destination for a quick weekend trip when you just need to get out of dodge for a day.
