Trailside Bike Park

While there’s nothing overly-gnarly, Trailside bike park offers well built flow lines with plenty of berm time. In addition to the main flow line, and more difficult “all-mountain” trail there are a number of smaller pump-track style flow lines, as well as small wood features to practice your balance on. As of the date this was written, they are in the process of putting the finishing touches on the expert line which will feature larger drops and more aggressive wooden bike park features. The up trail takes 5-10 minutes to pedal or push up, and just a couple minutes to descend making the average lap time around 10 minutes.

Getting to Trailside Bike Park

Trailside is accessed from the Silver Summit exit off of HWY 40 (aka the Home Depot exit). Once off the exit, head west away from the Home Depot and go until the road ends. The bike park shares a parking lot with the Trailside Elementary School soccer fields. All the bike park trails are accessed from the same up trail, so pedal up and pick your line down.

When to Ride Trailside Bike Park

The bike park is an excellent early season option to dial in your skills after the winter. It’s also a local favorite for before work or during lunch for those looking for a quick spin. The area is very exposed, so be prepared for the sun if you ride during the warmer summer months. Please do not ride when wet or overly dry as you’ll cause damage to the berm walls which is what makes area so fun.
